Passed on the $40 keypad for a $12 door contact last Tuesday, and the customer called back in 2 days
She wanted the panel moved to the hallway so the keypad would be out of sight, but that meant fishing wire through a finished ceiling in a 1920s house in Tacoma. Took the easy contact swap instead and she called Thursday because her kid kept arming the system from the front room and tripping it at 6am. Should I have just eaten the ceiling work up front, or do you guys always quote the hard job first?
