Just hit 200 service calls for a single model of motion sensor failing early

All from the same batch installed across three counties last fall. Anyone else seeing a wave of these Model 7X sensors dying before the 2-year mark?

Weird, my experience is the total opposite. I've got about fifty of those same 7X sensors from that time frame still running fine. Only had to swap two for random issues, nothing like a batch failure. Maybe it was an install thing or a bad power supply in those areas?

Had a similar thing happen with a different sensor batch. We found it was voltage spikes from old wiring in one building causing the early fails. Fixed the root cause and the replacement units have been solid for years now.
