Simpler for who, exactly? That new software might look clean, but it hides all the actual logic behind layers of menus. Give me the old ladder logic where I can see every single rung and contact laid out plain as day. All this new stuff just makes it harder to troubleshoot when a machine goes down at 2 AM. Sometimes more buttons and screens just means more places for things to go wrong.
