The day we tried meditation between rivet runs
Okay, so our supervisor got this idea from a seminar about cutting stress. He sets up a meditation circle RIGHT in the middle of the hangar during lunch break. We're all sitting there, trying to clear our heads, but you can hear the air tools whirring and smell the jet fuel. I almost dozed off and tipped over into a bucket of sealant. My buddy started snoring, and it echoed off the fuselage. We gave up after five minutes because it was just too silly. Now we just use that time to actually eat our sandwiches. Some plans sound smart but are a total DISASTER when you try them.

Man, that sounds like a total mess. Trying to chill out with air tools going and fuel stink in the air is just not gonna work. Almost diving into a sealant bucket sums it up perfect. Your supervisor had a nice idea, but reality kicked its butt. Smart move just eating your sandwiches after that. Some things look good on paper but fall apart fast.

Seriously, what a perfect example of theory crashing into the real world. I read something once about how trying to force calm in a chaotic place can actually make you more stressed. The whole point is a quiet space, not a loud hangar floor. Your boss was probably just trying to help, but man, that setup was doomed. Did he ever admit it was a bad idea, or just pretend it never happened?
