Showerthought: I used a plastic straw to clear a clogged static port
Was dealing with a blocked port on a Cessna 172 and grabbed a drinking straw from my lunch... it fit perfectly and pushed the gunk out without scratching anything. Has anyone else used a weird everyday item for a quick fix like that?

Smart move, I've done the same thing more times than I can count. Zip ties can hold up surprisingly well in a pinch, especially if you double them up for extra security. @spencerh95, they'll usually get you through the day or back to the shop without a problem.
