Bought a $36 "A&P prep" app on a whim and the practice questions were straight from a 2011 forum
I run a small shop and needed to keep my IA stuff current, so a $36 app called A&P Test Ace looked fine at 11pm. The screenshots showed clean diagrams and real torque values, but the whole thing was maybe 40 recycled questions from a forum thread I found for free with one search. I paid, tapped through 12 questions, saw the same "what does the yellow arc mean" prompt three times, and asked for a refund. Their support guy emailed back and said "content is curated by industry vets," which told me nothing. Now I wonder whether I am the only one getting burned by these study apps, or if some of them actually work. What did you pay for that turned out to be a download of stuff you could find in an hour? And is there a paper guide you trust more than any app?
