Warning: People are crowding the air fryer basket way too much

I keep seeing recipe posts where folks pile in chicken thighs or fries like they are roasting them in a regular oven. The whole point of an air fryer is hot air circulation. If you stack stuff three layers deep, the bottom pieces come out soggy and the top ones burn. I figured this out after my third batch of wings where the bottom ones were basically steamed. Now I always cook in single layers and do multiple batches if I have to. It takes a bit longer but the texture is way better. Has anyone else noticed this issue with recipes that claim to feed four people?

23 wings taught me that crowding anything usually ruins the whole batch.

Used to pile everything in one pan, now I always give things room to breathe.
