Stopped frying potatoes in oil after my air fryer experiment
I always cooked my potatoes in a pan with lots of oil. Then I tried them in the air fryer with just a spray. They got super crispy and tasted great without the grease. Now I do all my potato dishes this way. What habits have you changed with your air fryer?

Cornstarch? You're out here doing science experiments while I'm just pressing buttons. My lazy version still gets the job done.

I was right there with you on the science experiments thing. I always skipped the cornstarch step because it seemed extra. Then I tried it once and the fries came out so much crispier. Like, they had that restaurant-style crunch without being oily. Even my kid, who usually hates my cooking, asked for seconds. Now I keep a box of cornstarch next to the air fryer like some kind of convert.
