I chose to air fry a whole head of cauliflower instead of cutting it into florets, and everyone told me I was nuts.

Saw a recipe online from a food blog in Chicago that insisted cutting it up was the only way to get it crispy. I decided to test it myself, oiled and seasoned the whole thing, and cooked it at 375 for about 40 minutes. The outside got perfectly charred and the inside was tender, not mushy. It was way easier to handle and season evenly. Who else has tried the 'whole veg' method against the common advice?

That Chicago blog had me convinced florets were mandatory. Your whole head method sounds like a game changer for texture and cleanup. I'm officially switching teams.

Hold up, switching teams already? I mean the florets give you way more control. The whole head thing just mashes everything together and you lose all that definition. That blog was right, the texture is totally different and not in a good way. Cleanup might be faster but the result looks kinda lazy and messy to me. I tried it once and it was a total fail, went right back to florets.
