Appreciation post: My $40 air fryer basket liner saved my weeknight dinners
I remember trying to cook frozen fries in my old air fryer and they'd always stick to the basket. I spent about $40 on a set of silicone liners after seeing them online. The first time I used one for some chicken tenders, they came out perfect and cleanup took 30 seconds. It completely changed how often I use the thing because I'm not scrubbing anymore. Anyone have a good trick for keeping fish from sticking without a liner?

Honestly thought those liners were just a gimmick before trying one. A little oil spray on the food itself works for fish in a pinch, but it's not as foolproof. What kind of fish are you trying to cook?

Yeah I was the same way, thought it was just extra junk to buy. But I tried one with some really flaky tilapia last week and it was a total game changer. The skin just would NOT stick, even without much oil. I used to just grease the pan and pray, but half the fish would stay behind. Now I keep a box in the drawer for fish nights, makes clean up way easier too.
