My AI image generator hit 10,000 images and I'm not sure what to think
I've been running a local Stable Diffusion setup for about 8 months, mostly just for fun. I checked the output folder yesterday and the counter read 10,127 generated pictures. On one hand, that's a huge amount of creative output I never could have made myself, but on the other, it feels weirdly empty because I didn't 'make' them in the old way. Does hitting a big number like that with AI art actually mean anything, or is it just a digital pile of stuff?

Man, that's a wild number to see. I mean, you made all those pictures in a way, right? You typed the words, you picked the model, you kept hitting generate. It's like having a weird new art tool that works at a crazy speed. The pile might feel empty because you didn't draw each line, but maybe the meaning is in the curation, like picking the one cool image out of a hundred bad ones. It's just a different kind of work now.

Save the good ones in a separate folder right away. It helps to see what you actually made, not just the pile of attempts.
