My old mall arcade used to smell like pizza and quarters

I drove past the old Greenwood Mall yesterday and that place is a ghost town now. Back in like 2007 I used to spend every Saturday there with my buddy Dave. We'd hit the arcade first thing, drop like $10 in quarters on that old House of the Dead cabinet. The carpet was this gross pattern and the lights were all fuzzy but man that place was alive. Now I just sit in my living room playing games on my phone between emails. It's crazy how something that felt so huge just shrunk down to nothing. Has anyone else gone back to their old mall and just stood there feeling weird about it?

Man, you hit it. That fuzzy feeling was real. The carpet stains, the flashing lights, the smell of old pizza and hot plastic. It was the whole vibe. Now it's just a quiet hallway with a Bath and Body Works and a Petco. Feels like a ghost town you can walk through.

10 bucks in 2007 was like 40 dollars now though.
