inA chat about office lights turned into our first green win
You're so right about starting with one thing leading to more good steps. In my experience, we had a similar win with an old printer at my office. It was always humming and using tons of power, so we pushed to replace it with a sleep mode model. The drop in energy use was pretty clear on the next bill. That got my team talking about other easy fixes, like unplugging chargers overnight. Your mileage may vary, but I find that once people see that first win, they start looking for more. It really does build up from one small change.

inChanged my tune on the crowbar after a stubborn post job
Nothing like a stubborn post hole to make you question your whole tool life. You spend all this money on a fancy digging bar, and then a basic crowbar saves the day. @xenajohnson is right about hidden stones, they're the worst party crashers. I had a similar thing last summer where my pry bar was useless until I grabbed a plain old wrecking bar from the truck. It was an ABSOLUTE game changer. Sometimes the fanciest tool just bounces off while the simple one gets the job done.
