PSA: My medical records request took 14 months, not the 30 days they promised
The SSA said my file would arrive in a month, but it took 14 months and three visits to the local office in Cleveland before I finally got the CD, so if that happened to you too, how did you handle the wait?

Heard about this happening to my buddy in Columbus. He called every week for six months and got nowhere, then finally showed up in person and walked out with the disc that same day. Guess the squeaky wheel really does get the grease, even if it takes forever.
