That $8 print from a street fair made me rip apart my whole wall display

I grabbed a screenprint of an old train depot from a vendor in Portland last month, just because the colors caught my eye. Got it home and realized the sizing threw off the entire arrangement I had above my couch, so I had to take down five other posters and start over. In the middle of that, one of my favorites slid out of its frame and tore a corner, which sucked because that one was a gift from my brother. But the new piece ended up being the anchor, and now I'm wondering if anyone else builds their whole collection around one accidental purchase. What's the one print that forced you to reshuffle everything?

Are you seriously telling me one print made you tear apart a whole wall? That feels like a lot of drama for something you grabbed on a whim. I mean, I get that sizing matters, but you could have just moved one frame over instead of starting from zero. And that tear on the poster from your brother, that's a bummer, but it also sounds like you were being careless while you were rearranging. Honestly, most people hang a few things, step back, and call it done. They don't rebuild everything because one new piece shows up. Maybe you overthink this stuff way more than the average person does.
