Took me 6 months to notice my bootleg tape was the wrong band

I bought this live recording at a flea market in Austin back in March, credited to some local punk act I'd never heard of. Last week I finally listened close and realized it was actually a Talking Heads soundboard boot from 1983, the guy just slapped a sticker over it. The giveaway was the drummer's count-in on track 3, that's pure Chris Frantz. Has anyone else sat on a mislabeled tape for way too long before catching it?

Man, that reminds me of the time I found a Ministry tape that turned out to be a full recording of some German polka band, took me three years and a busted car stereo to figure it out. The polka was actually a banger though, so I couldn't even be mad.

Right? I once grabbed a bootleg Dead Kennedys tape and it ended up being some old-timey country gospel choir. Took me forever to realize because I only listened to it in my buddy's truck with blown speakers. That choir could harmonize though, so I kept it anyway.
