Maybe it's just me, but traveling to see old construction methods used to be how we learned. Now it's all videos and blogs.

Watch a 4K walkthrough of medieval castle stonework from ten different angles. You can zoom in on mortar joints and see tool marks that fade in person. Expert blogs break down each step with diagrams and old texts. Actually going there means fighting crowds and missing the hidden details. Digital stuff saves TIME and money for deep dives. It's a REVOLUTION in how we access history now.

Seriously, those digital tours let you spot things you'd totally miss in person. I save the close-up links for rainy days and hit the real site early morning to avoid crowds. What's the best castle scan you've seen online?

Tool marks that fade in person? I never realized they could wear away that fast. Last time I was at a castle, I just saw big walls, not the fine details like chisel scratches. If online tours show stuff that's literally vanishing, then I guess the real thing isn't always better. Now I'm curious which castles have the best scans for that.
