My pen pal's handwriting was so tiny I needed a magnifying glass to read it

I got a letter from a guy in Austin, TX last month and his cursive was literally 2mm tall. I had to use my phone camera zoomed in to read half of it. Turns out he's been writing that small for 30 years because he used to share notebooks in law school. Has anyone else gotten a letter that needed visual aids to decipher, or am I the only one squinting over here?

Haha that’s wild, but honestly it’s part of a bigger thing I’ve noticed where everyone’s either writing super tiny or massive these days. Like my grandma sends cards with huge shaky letters and my buddy from college writes like a doctor’s prescription, there’s no middle ground anymore. Guess we’re all just stuck decoding each other’s weird habits instead of actually talking.
