My local grocery store's layout completely flipped overnight and nobody else noticed
The dairy section was on the right for 15 years, but yesterday it was on the left with the same brands. I asked a cashier and she looked at me like I was nuts, saying it's always been there.

Read a study once about how grocery stores test new layouts on purpose to see if customers notice. Most people don't because we shop on autopilot, just grabbing what we need without really looking at the whole store. The cashier probably gets trained to say it's always been there so they don't have to explain the change to everyone. Something about knowing we don't pay close attention in familiar places. So yeah, pretty sure your store just rearranged things without telling anyone.

Mandela effect got you too" is a lazy way to dismiss how bad human memory is. People just remember things wrong all the time, it's not some weird glitch in reality. Our brains fill in gaps with what seems right, and whole groups can share the same wrong idea. It's more about how our minds work than anything spooky. Why do we need to make up a mystery when the simple answer is right there?
