My living room paint changed color overnight with no cause

I repainted my living room with beige paint last Saturday. It took me all day to finish the job. When I looked the next morning, the walls were a bright green shade. I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me. I checked the paint can, and it still read beige. No one else has been in the house since I painted. I never bought any green paint for this project. Now I keep staring at the walls, feeling like reality is off.

Could it be that the light from your windows is hitting the walls differently now? I've seen paint look totally off in morning sun versus evening lamps. Maybe you used a paint that needs to dry fully and it's still curing. Some paints shift color as they dry, especially if the base wasn't mixed right. Also, did you check for any leftover primer or old paint showing through? Sometimes layers underneath can bleed if the new coat is too thin.
