My car's odometer hit exactly 222,222 miles yesterday

I was driving my usual route near the old grain silos in Topeka when I saw it. It felt like a weird little sign, like the universe was lining up numbers for a second. I've been driving this van for 11 years and never caught a number like that before. Has anyone else had a number just pop up at you like that?

Actually, that's 222,222 miles on the odometer. The trip meter is the smaller one you can reset. The big number is the total miles the car has ever gone. Still a cool number to catch. My old truck showed all fives once. Made me pull over for a picture. Those little moments are fun.

Catching a number like that is a fun little win. @the_willow is right about pulling over for a picture, I did the same when my old Civic hit 123,456. Makes you wonder how many other drivers saw that exact number on the same stretch of road.
