I just read about the 'Mandela Effect' and the Berenstain Bears thing blew my mind
I was reading a blog post about weird shared memories, and it mentioned that a huge group of people remember the children's book series being spelled 'Berenstein' Bears, but it's actually 'Berenstain'. I checked my old books from my parents' house, and sure enough, it's with an 'a'! The blog said a 2015 poll showed over 60% of people remembered the 'e' spelling. Has anyone else here had a super strong memory of something that turned out to be wrong like that?

My friend Sarah was so sure the Monopoly man had a monocle. She even drew it on a birthday card for me once. We looked it up last year and he totally doesn't! She was so freaked out she went and dug out her old game box to check. It was the weirdest feeling, seeing her so confident about a memory that just wasn't real.

My brain still insists Mr. Peanut has a monocle too. Pretty sure I'm just mixing up all my rich mascots.
