I found a cool fossil in a crumbling cliff face

Erosion gives us fossils but destroys the sites too.

I used to hunt for trilobites in the shale beds around Lake Michigan. I mean, I thought erosion was just nature's way of showing us cool things. But after reading about how fast the Jurassic Coast in England is eroding, it changed my view. Maybe it's just me, but seeing those cliffs fall into the sea makes you think about what we're losing.

Honestly, @logan_white59 is right about it speeding up, and that really hits home when you see a fossil spot vanish.
