The guy who judged my RGB setup and then went full dark mode

Some random at a LAN party in Austin laughed at my rainbow fans, called it 'clown barf', then showed me his all-black rig with zero lights and a single monitor arm. I get the clean look, but isn't half the fun of building a PC showing off the parts you spent 3 months saving for? Who here actually runs zero lighting and why do you hate joy?

Clown barf" is a new one for me, and I've been called a lot at LANs. Last year a guy tried to shame me for my cable management, then his own PSU died and he blamed it on his AIO cooler.
