Vent: My buddy's comment about his smartwatch battery totally changed how I read reviews
He said he only gets about 14 hours out of his new watch, but every review he watched before buying said it lasted 'all day'. Now I'm wondering if 'all day' means something different to reviewers than it does to someone actually working a 12-hour shift. How do you guys filter out vague claims like that when you're looking at new gear?

What watch was it? I've learned to search for the exact battery life numbers in the specs, not the reviews. Those marketing phrases are useless.

Check the fine print, they always hide the real numbers there lol.

Exactly, the specs page is the only place you'll get real numbers. You have to ignore the marketing fluff and go straight to the technical details. It's the only way to know what you're really getting.
