How a single review turned my awful video chat audio around

I was tired of my voice cutting out on video chats with my team (so annoying, right?). So, I looked up reviews for cheap mics and found one with lots of happy users. Bought it on a whim, and the difference was night and day. My coworker said I sound like I'm in the same room now, which is great for our talks. It's proof that a good review can really help you pick the right gear.

Wow, I read that audio matters more than video on calls.

Seriously? @foster.dylan I have to push back on that. Video is just as key because you pick up on visual cues and body language. Losing that feels like you are only getting half the conversation.

Video can actually make it harder to focus on what someone's saying. I get distracted by my own face or the background. Sometimes the best talks happen when you just listen.
