Update: I was wrong about click vinyl in wet rooms
Had a client in Tampa insist on it for their bathroom reno, and I told them it would fail within a year. They showed me a 3-year-old install from another guy that still looks perfect, no buckling at all. What's the best underlayment you've used for a wet area with that stuff?

Stick with the DMX 1-Step and make sure you have full perimeter venting. That's the biggest mistake people make is they don't run it up under the toe kicks. Gotta let that air flow or you'll trap moisture and get mold.

We used DMX 1-Step underlayment on a bathroom floor with rigid core vinyl about two years back. It's a plastic dimpled sheet that lets any moisture that gets through the planks air out and drain. The key is the full perimeter venting, so you need to run it up under the toe kicks of the vanity. That job still looks flat with no soft spots, even with kids splashing water everywhere.
