I forgot to mute myself during a management update and the fermentation gas made a huge noise. Now my boss thinks I have weird tech issues during important calls. How do you handle noisy ferments when working from home?

For @rivera.cole, tightening the seal right after pouring hot liquid stops most hissing (I used to forget that step). Let the thermos sit upright for a minute so pressure builds up slow. Check the rubber gasket inside the cap, since a worn one lets air sneak out. A quick replace from any hardware store fixes it for good.
