Got a weird tip from a client at a Denver spa conference
I was working a booth at the Rocky Mountain Skin Expo last month and a client told me she always puts her hyaluronic acid serum on damp skin, not dry. I tried it on half my face for a week and the side with damp skin looked way more plump. Now I tell all my clients to mist their face first. Anyone else have a simple trick that actually works?

Honestly thought that damp skin thing was just a fad for way too long. I was so sure you needed a dry canvas for serums to really stick. Tried it on a whim after reading something similar and my dry patches soaked it up completely differently. Now it feels wrong not to spritz my face first, like I'm wasting product.

But is it really that big of a deal, or are we just overthinking skincare now?
