Warning: I saw a huge drop in callbacks after switching to a specific brand of wire nuts

I used the blue ones from a big box store for a year and had maybe 5% of my jobs need a revisit. Switched to a cheaper brand for six months and that number jumped to almost 20%. Has anyone else had a specific brand fail on them like that?

Hold on, that sounds like a coincidence. Wire nuts are pretty simple parts. A 15% jump in callbacks is huge, and it's way more likely the problem was your technique or a bad batch, not the whole brand. Maybe you just got sloppy without realizing it. I've used the cheap ones for years with zero issues.
