Warning: my old way of drawing a simple circle was making my CAD files huge
I was working on a site plan in AutoCAD and a 3 MB file ballooned to 15 MB for no clear reason. My boss looked over my shoulder and said 'you're using a polyline with 1000 segments, just use the circle command', and I felt like an idiot. Anyone have a quick way to check a drawing for heavy geometry like that?
Honestly that polyline circle thing is like when you accidentally film a whole video in 4K on your phone. The file just explodes for no obvious reason. Tbh I just run the audit command now before I send anything.
