Tried digital drafting on a tablet for a week and my wrist stopped hurting

Switched from a mouse to a stylus and tablet for laying out electrical plans, and after three days the carpal tunnel flare up from clicking a thousand times a day just went away - has anyone else found their wrist pain disappeared with a different input method?

Is your wrist pain really that bad that a different tool is going to fix it? I've been using a mouse for 15 years doing circuit board layouts and my wrist is fine. Maybe you just needed a break or a better desk setup. Carpal tunnel is a pretty serious medical condition and it sounds like you just had a minor ache from overworking your hand. A week isn't long enough to know if the wrist pain is actually gone or if you just got used to a new motion. I would wait a month before claiming the stylus cured you.
