Finally got my section views to stop looking like a mess after a senior drafter's note

He said my hatch patterns were way too dense and to try setting them to 0.5 scale instead. Anyone have a different trick for making complex assemblies clearer?

Complex assemblies" reminds me of a time I used colored layers.

Colored layers just make a mess, honestly. Plain text gets the job done faster.

Ever try to find a single line in a huge drawing with all black layers? Color coding lets me spot electrical from plumbing in two seconds. I set red for anything hot, blue for cold water, green for data lines. It saves me a ton of time on big projects.
