Why does nobody talk about the real cost of cheap coworking passes?

I mean, I see people all the time saying to just buy day passes or use cafes instead of a monthly membership. I did that for 6 months in Lisbon and it was a mess. I spent over 300 euros on day passes and cafe drinks, plus the stress of finding a spot and dealing with bad wifi. Then I got a 200 euro monthly spot at a real coworking space. The stable internet, quiet room, and free coffee saved me money and so much time. It's not just about the price tag. Has anyone else done the math and found the 'cheap' option was actually worse?

Totally get that. My own math was just as bad before I figured it out. The hidden costs of moving around all day really add up. Felt like a genius for finally getting a real desk.

My buddy spent months on a wobbly stool before his back gave out.
