Tried working from a cafe versus a co-working space in Medellin last month
I used to just find a coffee shop, but the noise and spotty wifi at Pergamino Cafe made it hard to focus. So I paid for a day pass at Selina CoWork and got a quiet desk, fast internet, and free coffee refills. The cost was about the same, but I got way more done. Anyone have a favorite quiet spot to work in Colombia?

That "spotty wifi" thing is such a universal problem now, it feels like we're all just paying for a reliable connection one way or another.

Watch it happen with everything we're told is a basic service now. You pay for electricity but deal with brownouts, pay for a phone plan but get dropped calls in half the city, pay for streaming but the app buffers constantly. We're all just renting the idea of things working, with the actual function being a pleasant surprise.
