The coworking space shift I noticed in Chiang Mai over 3 months

I came back to Chiang Mai after two years away and the coworking scene is completely different. Used to be Punspace and CAMP were the only real options, packed with people on their laptops all day. Now there's like 15 different spaces scattered around the Nimman area, and half of them are empty during peak hours. I think the remote work boom brought way too many people here too fast, then everybody spread out. The price war is real too. I snagged a monthly desk for $90 when I was paying $150 back in 2019. But the vibe is off. Nobody talks to each other anymore. Has anyone else noticed the same thing happening in their home base city?
