Rant: People keep booking one month in Bali and think that's the nomad life

I've seen three friends do this, and they all come back stressed from visa runs and never actually settle into a work rhythm. Has anyone found a good spot where you can actually stay for 90 days without jumping through hoops?

Isn't that just the visa exemption though, not a proper long-stay visa?
