Rant: I thought working from a beach in Bali would be perfect, but it was a total mess
I saved up for a year to try the classic 'laptop on the beach' thing in Canggu. My first day, sand got into my keyboard and the glare made my screen impossible to see, even with a shade. I spent 50 bucks at a repair shop just to get the grit cleaned out. Everyone makes it look so easy online, but has anyone else found that the reality is just not worth the hassle?

Feel your pain, did the same thing in Mexico last year. The humidity messed up my laptop's charging port for good. Plus the wifi kept dropping every time a cloud passed by. All those perfect instagram shots never show the panic of losing your connection during a zoom call. Honestly just working from a decent cafe is a million times better.

Had the exact same thing happen in Ubud. A $10 silicone keyboard cover and a matte screen protector saved my setup. Find a coworking spot with a pool instead of working on the sand.
