My Airbnb in Medellin had fiber internet but the router was locked in a cabinet, so I had to MacGyver a 50-foot ethernet cable run through the window just to get a stable signal for a client call.
Honestly, I learned to always message the host specifically about router access before booking, not just ask if the wifi is 'good', so has anyone else had to get creative with a bad setup?
