Heads up about using just your phone hotspot for work in Medellin

I saw three people at my co-working space get booted from video calls because the network got overloaded. What's your backup plan when the local internet goes down?

Forgetting the local SIM is basically my travel superpower at this point. Last trip to Italy I spent 20 minutes looking in every pocket and pouch twice, only to find it still tucked inside my passport holder at the bottom of my bag. Pretty sure my husband just stands there and watches me now.
