Overheard a gal at the coffee shop say her AI art felt hollow and fake

She said it looked perfect but had no soul, and it got me thinking about how I spent 6 hours on a digital painting last weekend that felt way more real than any of those generated pieces I see on here.

Honestly, what helped me was just focusing on one tiny detail, like the way light hits a button or something. It felt way more real when I got lost in those small bits instead of worrying about the whole picture looking perfect.

3 AM the other night I spent an hour drawing the seam on a single sock. @the_river you're totally right about getting lost in the small stuff, I mean it's not like anyone's gonna zoom in on a button but my brain insisted.
