My "watercolor" brush preset turned my nice digital portrait into a muddy disaster because I forgot to check the flow rate setting

Spent 6 hours on a portrait piece in Krita last Tuesday. Everything was going fine until I switched to a watercolor brush preset I downloaded from some DeviantArt link. The preview looked great. But I didn't notice the flow rate was set to 2% instead of 80%. Whole face turned into this smeared gray blob. Looked like I painted it with a wet sock. Has anyone else had a preset secretly sabotage their work like that?

Man that hurts. 2% flow rate is basically asking the brush to barely touch the canvas. I've been there with Krita though, the watercolor engine is weirdly sensitive to flow settings way more than opacity. So did you catch it before it was too late to undo, or did that 'wet sock' look become a permanent part of the file? Because I swear those brush presets from random DeviantArt links always have some hidden slider set to a stupid number. It's like the artist just cranked everything to 10% before uploading.
