Took me 11 days to get my 2006 Sony Clie PDA to sync with my modern PC, but it finally worked last night
The problem was that the old Palm Desktop software kept crashing on Windows 11 because of a missing driver called PalmUSBD.sys, and every forum thread I read told me to just buy a different device. I ended up digging through a Japanese archive site and finding a patched driver from 2009 that someone uploaded in a thread about a totally different gadget. It took 11 days of messing with it after work, but seeing my old calendar entries pop up on that tiny screen made it all worth it. Has anyone else gotten old Palm OS stuff to play nice with newer machines, or am I the only one still stubborn about this?
