The dead Nexus 5 I revived with a bootloader trick I found on a 2016 forum
Honestly, after 3 tries with every ROM out there, flashing a stripped-down Android 4.4 from some random XDA mirror got my old Nexus 5 running for another year, so has anyone else had luck with ancient firmware on unsupported phones?

Tbh my Nexus 5 outlived three of my newer phones, so the real dead thing is my financial judgment.
