My uncle swore a hairdryer would fix my dead PSP, and 10 minutes later it actually booted up
He said the solder joints on the motherboard crack over time and the heat reflows them, and it worked for about 3 weeks before it died again, so has anyone else tried the oven trick for a more permanent fix?
