DAE panic when a 2009 iMac won't boot after the PRAM battery dies?
Last Tuesday my 2009 iMac at my desk in Austin refused to boot after 14 years, so I pulled the drive, stuck it in a $25 USB dock, and copied everything to my new rig, but has anyone found a way to keep these old Macs running without hunting down a replacement battery?

Wasted weeks hunting batteries before realizing a cheap coin cell holder works fine.
