The Sears sign at the old mall in Charleston is still lit at 2am and that bugs me

Drove past the abandoned Citadel Mall in Charleston on a Tuesday night and the giant Sears sign was glowing like the place was still open. Ten years empty, lights still on, and I just sat there wondering who's paying that electric bill. Has anyone else found a dead mall where the signage never got shut off?
