The asbestos report that split our urban exploration group in two

Back in 2018 we were scoping out the old Franklin Mills Mall outside Philly. Someone brought a personal air quality reader and found asbestos fibers in the food court area. Half the group said masks were fine and we should keep going deeper. The other half said it wasn't worth the long term risk and wanted to leave. We stood there for like 20 minutes arguing. I'm curious how other explorers handle this stuff. Do you check air quality before going in or just assume the risk? Where do you draw the line on health hazards?
