Spent $75 on a used drone for shooting dead mall interiors and it completely changed how I document these places
I finally got tired of trying to shoot the upper levels of the Monroeville Mall atrium with my phone from the ground floor, so I grabbed a beat up DJI Mini 2 off Facebook Marketplace for $75 back in March. Best money I have spent on this hobby honestly, I got shots of the whole food court ceiling and that weird skylight structure that I could never get before. Security did not love it and I had to land it fast when a guy came around the corner, but I got the pics. My only issue is the battery lasts like 20 minutes and I only have the one. What are you all using for overhead shots? I am wondering if a longer pole rig would be less stressful than dealing with the drone.
