My cousin insisted the old Northgate Plaza in Spokane was just empty, but finding a fully stocked 1990s photo booth inside proved him wrong.

He said all the good stuff was gone years ago, but we found the photo booth with film and a working light after prying open a service door near the old food court last weekend, so has anyone else found a weirdly preserved store or machine in a place everyone wrote off?

Honestly, that's the coolest find. It's like a little time capsule. I bet the film is all dried out and cracked, but just seeing it there must have been a trip. Makes me want to go poke around some old strip malls. What did the pictures look like?

That bit about the photo booth still having film is wild. It reminds me of how much stuff just gets left behind. I saw a whole empty mall where one random greeting card store was still open, lights on and everything, like time forgot it. Makes you wonder what else is sitting untouched in plain sight.
